When I'm not busy working on the Transportation Ballot Measure (9-60)I'm working to elect Democratic candidates for statewide and national office. I'm also supporting for the Bend City Council: Jodie Barram for position 2, Jim Clinton for position 4 and Peter Gramlich for position 1.

There is still time to register to vote, so don't delay. This election, like no other in our modern history, is so important. I encourage you to vote for Obama for President. John McBush will only ensure more of the same. It's him and the President he stands with that have given us $9.5 TRILLION in debt, over 4,100 of our best and brightest dead due to a war that should never had started in the first place, our economy in the dumps, over a million lost jobs this year alone, a mortgage and credit crisis, no energy policy and a relationship between the White House and Big Oil that has not benefited the American People.

The Party of Debt and Death has lost its way and has been taken over by folks more interested in keeping power, benefiting big oil and ensuring sizable tax breaks for the rich and super rich. It's time for a CHANGE and Barack Obama is the man for our time, the leader for our country and the person to help make this country respected around the world once more, an economically powerful nation where we are not in debt to those who wish us harm, safe through a well supplied Arm Forces with the latest equipment and a Commander in Chief that talks first before engaging our men and women in battle. Our time has come and Barack is the person for our time.
